The captain of the Pakistan women’s team improved her rankings after the International Cricket Council (ICC) updated their rankings on Tuesday.

Dar, who is currently leading the Green Shirts in a three-match ODI series against Bangladesh in Mirpur, starred for her side as her magic with the ball helped the visitors all out the home side for just 85 runs and she has been rewarded fairly for her heroics in the first match.

She took three wickets for just 10 runs and played a crucial part in getting the Bangladeshi side out early, she was supported by Sadia Iqbal’s 4-13 as the two combined forces to bundle the home side out.

Dar improved her rankings in all three disciplines. She improved one rank and is now ranked 31st in ODI batters. In bowling, she was able to jump three places and is now at the 17th position. Meanwhile, in the all-rounders list, she upgraded two spots and is now in top 10, ranked number eight.

However, she was not the only Pakistani to benefit from the latest ICC rankings update as Sadia Iqbal jumped to the 44th position courtesy of a fiery spell in Mirpur.

On the other hand, Diana Baig also managed to improve her place in the list of all-rounders as she is now ranked 40th after jumping three spots.

It must be noted that Pakistan women lead the three-match ODI series 1-0.

In the T20I series, they lost 2-1 as they only managed to win the last match.
